The Original Pancake House Brookfield

We had our Valentine's Day weekend in Wisconsin and this is where we started our day. It was crowded and there was a line, but were seated in about 15 minutes. Breakfast was excellent. She had a Mediterranean omelette, I had two eggs with pork sausage and the coffee kept flowing. Our server was attentive, the surroundings were charming and the food was on point. The bacon was thickly cut and of good quality. The potatoes were extra tasty. We left there with a great new memory, energized and ready to spend the rest of the day adventuring Milwaukee.

First time here. Can see this place as something special. The menus is standard breakfast stuff. The prices seem fair to slightly high but in the end was worth it. I decided to do the corned beef hash breakfast with side of potato, toast, and bacon. My son had banana pancakes and his girlfriend has cherry crepes. Both looked great with big portions. The Corned beef was fined minced which I figured while eating was not my thing. The portion was rather small. The two eggs were cooked perfectly and mixed together made it better. The toast comes in buttered with stinks because if it sits, the butter doesn't melt. Now, if you've never been here..... get the bacon. Just do it and thank me later. Was cooked to medium which put it on wrong side of flubbery. I like bacon cooked but flexible

Service was excellent. I had the potato pancakes. They looked like we snowflakes, no two alike. They were smooth and tasty. The applesauce was chunky and very sweet. Just the way I like it.

Our first visit. About a 15 minute wait to be seated. Bountiful menu. Delicious coffee. I plan on visiting again to try some of the other things. Our server Josh was AMAZING.

The menu was large and varied but the food was excellent. Staff gave great service. This is a must visit!
