The Original Pancake House

The Irish omlete was good it was huge it comes with either pancakes or toast. If you are not a big eater get the toast . I could not finish my meal. The waitress was attentive but still made a few boo boos but overall it's a pretty good place.

This was a first visit to the restaurant for my family and I. We came in to grab a bite for breakfast. The wait was long because it was a Sunday but, we had frequent updates about our table status. Finally we get in, sat down, the waitress ordered our drinks and they came quickly. We ordered or food, and the wait was worth it. Our table ordered various meals from omlets to pancakes, to waffles. Everything was so good. When we come back down for Christmas break, we want to come again.

Good value. Service was good. Friendly staff. Food is just okay- pretty basic breakfast food selection. Convenient location. Large restaurant with plenty of seating so we didn’t have to wait.

We recently had the pleasure of enjoying breakfast at the Aventura location of the Original Pancake House and what a wonderful experience it was. The restaurant had been renovated since our last visit and it is now modern and beautiful. More importantly however the food is delicious. My wife and I shared a Dutch Baby pancake which was more than enough for us to share. With fresh strawberries and powdered sugar added, it was the best pancake we’ve ever had. The orange juice is freshly squeezed before being brought to the table and tasted like it was freshly squeezed. Best of all was our server, Stefanie, who was an absolute doll. As United States Marine Corps Veteran I felt Nicolle was amazing and really made us old folks feel warm and inviting! I wish more restaurants had that amazing service.
