Skinny Louie

Tried Skinny Louie for the first time thanks to a BOGO Uber Eats promo on their Applewood smoked bacon cheeseburgers. Since we hadn’t had it before, it felt like a good opportunity to see what the hype was about. The only modification we made was to double up the patties for an additional $3 each. Skinny Louie does smash burgers which are thin meat patties smashed onto the grilled to get a nice crust. Our order was ready within minutes, and they didn’t seem very busy at the time. The burger was decent, but definitely on the salty side. With a thin patty, the salt really stands out. I also found it lacking depth of flavor and felt it needed ketchup or another sauce to bring it together. Overall, I’d rate it a 3/5. I got togo for the office, and this is the worst burger I’ve ever had. Zero flavor, poor presentation. Just really sad, especially after seeing such good reviews.

Not worth your money. It was almost $19 for burger, fries, sauce and a soda. It was an alright burger, but nothing special including the sauce. You cannot add anything to your burger. Five Guys has better burgers and unlimited toppings. Save your money and go elsewhere.
