The Original Joey O's

I recently visited Joey O’s and it turned out to be an unexpected gem. The atmosphere gives you a true Chicago-style vibe, with sports jerseys, team banners, and a relaxed, welcoming setting that makes you feel comfortable right away. The service truly stood out. The young woman who assisted me had a stylish and confident presence, and her attention to detail elevated the entire experience. She was friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was perfect. Staff was super nice and friendly. Restaurant was clean and inviting. Unfortunately the bread was stale and the cookies in banana pudding were soggy. The sides were very good though! I had potato salad and pasta salad. I would give one more chance just based off how nice staff was and how quickly the food was made.

We enjoyed our sandwiches. They were fresh and tasty. The guy working the counter was very helpful. I also tried the Texas Chili which was also very good and made properly with NO BEANS.

Felt like a good sandwich place going in, but when I ordered a to-go from them they got the bread type wrong. I got white instead of wheat, I ordered sauce on the side (as it was a option for the type of sandwhich I ordered) and they put the sauce on my sandwhich anyway. I had seen the sizes or there regular sandwiches and was expecting at least 2 meals with the order but for some reason the hot sandwichs are priced just as expensive but half the size. Left with a sandwhich that was dry by the time I got home, with missing additions, wrong bread type, and half the size I expected. Disappointing experience 😕

Great service! Clean and relaxed atmosphere. Only complaints... - Sauerkraut didn't seem washed which results in it being super sour and salty. - Hotdog buns could be toasted because all the toppings make them soggy fast. -Hotdogs could be served a bit warmer because the toppings are cold already. Just few things I'd like different. But over all the food is great! Can't wait to go back.
