- My 90-year-old grandma wanted Walleye for supper so off to the Oregon Inn! The portions were enormous on all the food. That small prime rib… HAHA small! All in all, the fish was good, I had perch and walleye for the first time and really enjoyed it. The walleye bites in the appetizer were much less fishy than the dinner walleye. I will say that the restaurant seemed to be out of a few items, and I would suggest for servers to inform the patrons before they look at the menu. My stepmom ordered the food item that she wanted & it was out of stock and the waitress said it had been gone for a while ( probably a recall). This caused my stepmom to make a quick new choice, and she was sorely disappointed with the sandwich. I had the sweet potato fries, and they were flavorless, they came with so
A great little place by the lake. Had some really good food, drove all the way from fort Wayne Indiana just to try this place and it was worth it! Fettuccine Alfredo with Cajun chicken, BLT, side salad, Mac and cheese bites and peanut butter pie! Was mighty tasty!
Great food, fast, friendly service, reasonable prices!
The experience wasn’t too bad but one of our party ordered a steak Medium to Medium Well and it came out about 1/4 inch and we got 3/4 inch steaks. Look at the photo and the difference in thickness of these two steaks!!! We ordered ours Medium. When we asked about the thin steak and the difference in size, the waitress said. “Well you ordered it Well Done”. Sounds like we didn’t know the size and the thickness of the steak depended on the temperature of cooking. He actually ordered it, medium to medium well. The waitress did not offer to bring out the manager or any other options. Not impressed and the steak was $39.99! Definitely not a $40 steak! He did not eat it all. Took it home to the dog. The salad was your typical salad and the sides were typical. Nothing extraordinary. Just surpris
Prices on their Website are deceiving and don’t even come close to reflecting the prices on the menu. Also, the Reuben sandwich stated stacked high corned beef. Really? There was barely any corned beef on the sandwich and the bread was stale. Walleye was not good. However, the prime rib was excellent and the side salad was good. Waitress was attentive. Won’t be back.
