Customer Reviews
Top-notch food with top-notch service! I’ve eaten a lot of high-end steaks in my time, none better than their filet mignon. And the steak wedges or what I call “potato wedges” was spot on. The sauce was really good as well. Let’s not forget the bread man o man! We will definitely be back soon!
I was amazed at the class and service. I had the filet mignon and it was great. Everyone in my party was really satisfied with the food and service. We appreciate the experience.
My sister dragged me here on christmas eve and the experience was quite jarring: as I devoured a perfect filet and delicious dessert course (and downed half a bottle of pax Syrah) I was forced to seriously consider that five decades in she might have finally developed a palate. Good job sis, but you'll have to repeat this for me to not rule it out as random luck.
Best breakfast buffet! Fresh, perfectly cooked hot breakfast. French toast was divine, bacon crispy and the sausage and gravy was to die for. Service was excellent and everyone was super kind. Just an all around wonderful experience!
The new fall season comfort food menu is perfect. The food descriptions, both written and verbal are so enticing. And, the food stands up to the description. Really, this menu is so well thought out for this time and this place. We had the PEI Cattail Mussels, complemented with very thinly sliced okra strips that were flash fried, cornmeal veggies (squash), Duck and Dumplings (puts chicken and dumplings to shame), and Pork Fried Perloo (a southern take on pork fried rice using Carolina rice) which has been a low country staple for centuries. Really a great experience. We were seated in the front area which is much quieter than the main room. We highly recommend The Nu Wray for an authentic experience.
