Homeplace Beer Company

My husband and I rented in a cabin in Mars Hill for the week, with all intentions of spending our whole week exploring Asheville. But in the beginning of the week, we came to Homeplace for lunch since it was a shorter drive from the cabin. We’re SO happy we did! They have a great atmosphere, very nice staff, clean outdoor and indoor seating (and even clean bathrooms), and hands down the BEST drinks and pizza either of us have ever had. On our last day in Mars Hill, we decided we wanted our outing to be at Homeplace, and even got another pizza, and a few beers, to go. If we come back to this area for another vacation, we will definitely be going back here! Side note: the pizza in the pictures is the buffalo chicken pizza (not too heavy and the perfect amount of sauce and toppings) from Hog

Loved this pizza/and beer gastro pub. Delicious food and excellent service. This is a must see in Burnsville! Try the smore pizza it's out of this world!

In addition to the huge menu of fresh delicious brews the food done by Hog Hollow is some of the best I've enjoyed. Their Buffalo Wings are a full wing, meaty and roasted just enough. I had the traditional red pizza with Mozzarella, a blast from my NJ Bar Pizza days. Holy crap how good! It's been a long time since I have enjoyed pizza that fresh & good. No pics, sorry, I ate every bit.

One of the best dining and drinking experiences I've had in the high country (born and raised just down the road I'm Spruce Pine). This place has everything; outdoor seating with string lights, picnic tables, and an outdoor stage, indoor seating on two levels with ample bar space, deck seating with screens to keep you warm, a fun shuffleboard and game area for kids, delicious 🍻🍺 beers and a 🍕 pizza shop inside with amazing house pies and delicious 🥗 salads. I recommend the Greek Chicken pizza and the Caesar salad. These pair well with their coffee blonde and Gingers Revenge. They also have takeaway cans and merchandise. They also boast ♿ handicap accessible 🅿️ parking, seating, and 🚻 restrooms.

This is our go to Friday night drop-in when in town! The Brown Mule is a must try if you love or even like a brown Ale. I remember when this was 2 blocks over and a smaller outfit with only popcorn and pork rhines as snacks. They have over 20 taps They now have wine on tap too Staff is great.... ( it's the same core 6 ) Local live music (check website) Pet and kid friendly They can about 12-15 of their beers to take home The kitchen is very consistent and pretty fast. This is a MUST when visiting downtown Burnsville!
