The Old Place Bed & Breakfast

Really enjoyed this unique stay, a little off the beaten path but just a half hour from Tupelo. The 1925 home has been lovingly preserved with period fixtures and furniture, in a peaceful country setting. Our hostess was welcoming and professional, and made sure we lacked nothing! We had such a relaxing and comfortable stay. Especially enjoyed a blissful soak in the vintage cast iron tub, morning coffee & muffins in the sunroom, and a stroll around the grounds. Highly recommend for a charming, quiet getaway!

I absolutely love this bed and breakfast. It is just 5 minutes from the main shopping/eating area in Amory. I felt very safe, and Teresa is such a kind host. The house is beautiful, clean, and you will feel at home. She went out of her way to make sure I had eggs and bacon for breakfast. Thank you to the Glenn family!!!

Highly recommend the “Old Place Bed & Breakfast” anytime you are staying in Amory, MS. This quaint and quiet spot is like spending relaxing time on a farm in the country. The rooms are adorned with antiques and family heirlooms. There are also 2 beautiful claw-foot bathtubs to enjoy a luxurious bath. There are incredible sunrises and sunsets to be enjoyed. The hosts - Theresa and Jimmy - are wonderful and always checking in to see if you need anything. A great spot run by even better people.

We stayed one night in The Old Place on our way from Nashville to New Orleans in May this year. We were in America for the first time and having an amazing trip, but even so the Old Place stands out as one of our best experiences. We had the house to ourselves and it's just beautiful. The seating area outside is lovely and we've brought some ideas home for our own patio. We loved chatting with Theresa in the morning and enjoyed her recommendation of the Atkinson Steak House. So relaxing. So go!

My husband and I stayed one night at The Old Place while driving from Nashville to Natchez on the Natchez Trace. We loved it! Such a peaceful place if you are looking to "get away from it all" for a few days. It is lovely inside and out. We had so much fun exploring the yard and garden. Great sitting area to enjoy sipping your morning coffee. Theresa the owner has decorated the entire house with so many neat, vintage finds that gives it a comfortable "homey" feel. There are 3 great bedrooms and 2 nice bathrooms. Would be a perfect place to travel with another couple or a family but we enjoyed having the house to ourselves. Some cool little shops to browse in downtown Amory too.
