The Old Liberty Schoolhouse B&B

We had an excellent experience at the Old Liberty Schoolhouse B&B! The rooms are beautiful and spacious, and we felt so at home there. Everything was so clean, well-organized and beautifully decorated. The service was perfect, and the food was amazing! We're from PA, and we now understand firsthand what "southern hospitality" is referring to, after staying at this B&B. In addition, the price for this heavenly stay was so affordable. I highly recommend the Old Liberty Schoolhouse B&B!

An absolute perfect stay. Zan was the ultimate host. It was quiet, and the room was immaculate and well thought out with lovely antiques and decor. |Homemade breakfast brought to my door every morning and the bed was heavenly soft. |Just a lovely experience-highly recommend.

My wife and I were visiting our daughter and son-in-law in Azle. Previously we stayed in the Lake Worth area. We are so glad we found Old Liberty Schoolhouse B&B. Not only was it convenient but the suite was so much bigger than a typical hotel room with a living/dining room and kitchenette. The space was very comfortable with excellent HVAC controls. It is very quiet on a gated property. The owners, Zan and Cash, are so very nice and incredible hosts. An unexpected highlight was Zan’s amazing breakfasts. These meals were truly 5 Star! I would highly recommend staying here!

My wife and I stayed at Old Liberty after our wedding and had a wonderful time! Breakfast was served both days and was delicious, our room was well appointed and spacious, and the hosts were delightful! The grounds are beautiful and quiet so it’s a nice place to relax. The hosts also kindly left us a nice little wedding gift as we were checking out. We would happily stay there again!

We stayed in the Schoolyard sweet for a weekend getaway. This quaint and charming b&b was beyond our expectations. The room had everything you'd need for rest and relaxation. The property, with a view of the lake, was very private, quiet and stunning. There were even deer roaming the property. The location is close enough to main Axle where there are great food options, close enough to two grocery stores should you need anything and under an hour away from Fort Worth if you wanted to go explore there as well. In the morning, they delivered breakfast to our room. The BEST breakfast I have ever had, two days in a row and I went to culinary school, so I can be deemed a decent judge of that.
