Sugar Llamas - Azle

We stopped by Sugar Llamas in Azle, Texas, and their little donuts were absolutely delicious! They were light, fluffy, and tasty both with and without the icing. We even got to sample the cinnamon sugar one, and it was amazing! The service was a bit on the slow side, but I think that’s mostly because a lot of people coming in are still figuring out what they want, it’s a newer spot, after all. Having a few extra menus on the tables when you walk in might help speed things up for new visitors. One small suggestion: it would be great if the staff were a little more familiar with what ingredients go into the different drinks, as ours had to be remade. I’m really not one to complain, but I wanted to share my experience. The staff was super nice, the environment was welcoming, and I felt comfortable in the store. I ordered a blue raspberry Red Bull mixer, and while the employee did apologize that it wasn’t blue like it was supposed to be, that part didn’t bother me. What disappointed me was that when I took a drink, it tasted exactly like a regular Red Bull with no added flavor. For the price, I was hoping for something more than what I could’ve just picked up at a gas station. I truly appreciate the friendliness and atmosphere, but the drink itself missed the mark for me

I read reviews and didn't get prices for the donuts so it's 7.99 for 12 donuts and you can get 2 different ones too. I got the maple bacon and banana split and it is so good and also I got cake batter ice cream and it was good too. No non dairy options for coffee or ice cream.

So excited for this location to open! My girls loved the donuts and I loved the coffee! They have so many options to pick from, something for everyone! Can’t wait to go back!

The crew and I ventured to Azle, Texas for Night to Shine on Valentine's Day Eve 2026. We noticed Sugar Llamas coming into town and commented on the cute name. Leaving the event, we decided it was too cute not to stop. Glad we did! We all got ice cream and one of us got doughnuts too. Such an adorable place with cute llama artwork, T-shirt, and little plush llamas. There were two servers behind the counter. The young guy was a little awkward - he seemed extremely nervous (my daughter ordered ice cream and for whatever reason, he didn't get it for her... Not sure what that was about 🤷🏻‍♀️). The young lady behind the counter was fantastic - bright and friendly. She made up for the odd young man's demeanor. Anyway, yes, we thoroughly enjoyed the Sugar Llama!
