The Old Dam Inn

A spectacular home for large get together or family vacations. This place is located right on the river and has a lot of space for outdoor lawn games and activities. The inside of this place is eclectic and adventurous. I spent hours looking around the home and admiring each rooms unique decor. I really hope my friends and I plan a trip back!

Absolutely love the charm of this little nook of comfort in the lake woods. It's become much more than a weekend of peace for our little family. Each year we part from the Old Dam Inn, we immediately start planning the trip for the next year. The colors of the leaves, the fishing, the kayaking and paddle boating, the absolute serenity of the Inn calls us back every year. This truly is a home away from home. Worth every moment of time spent as a family within the walls of the Inn.

This house is perfect for any get together you want to have! We had a get together of 22 friends and had an absolutely amazing weekend! Kurt (the owner) has everything you could ever need for a large group. 2 fridges, 2 stoves, 2 dishwashers, all the plates/silverware/cookware you could ever need. An absolutely HUGE outdoor space perfect for all yard games, an awesome game room with foosball, pool table, and card table to play after the sun goes down, and all the bedrooms are comfortable and fully stocked with linens, pillows, blankets, and towels. This was the second year we enjoyed The Old Dam Inn and we are planning on coming back for many more years as a nice getaway from the city.

We take a trip here once a year and I wouldn't miss it for the world. It's an amazing location, quiet, secluded. Perfect romantic getaway as well, the house is put together in a way no resort or hotel could dream to match. 10/10 recommend to anyone looking for a gorgeous spot in the country for a wedding event, weekend fishing getaways, or just a lovely escape from life's hustle. P.s.-try the smoked salmon in town, it's world class.
