The Northern Star Bakery

Incredible cake, the woman I worked with was VERY accommodating, made a splendid custom cake on shorter notice than was reasonable for me to ask for! She did a wonderful job, my wife was so very pleased and had a great start to her birthday because of it. I will always recommend Northern Star Bakery to anyone in need of a custom cake experience!

She forgot the dairy, gluten, and nut free cupcakes at home. She didn’t offer to go get them she stated I would receive a refund. The wedding was the 5th and I have still not received my $160 back for those 20 cupcakes. She said “Thursday or Friday the refund will be in your account”. It is now the following Wednesday (October 16th) and I still do not have a refund. She messed up our cake I ordered a one tier and she gave us two. The piping didn’t look like flowers as requested nor were there pearl candies on the regular cupcakes and she said she could do both of these. I’m very unsatisfied with this bakery.

Amazing person, with amazing cakes, and very much goes out of her way to ensure your taken care of. 11/10 customer service. She is so nice and always kept in contact and kept me informed of what's going on with my order. People that gave 1 star probably just Karen's that hate life, because my experience was beyond exceptional.

Cake look beautiful but service and quality were unacceptable. We were messaged at 1AM that the cake would be delayed and not ready at the 10am pickup time agreed on prior. They claimed this was due to not having a box to put the cake in. Cake sat out for 3 hours and was frozen in the middle when went to serve the cake. The frosting was not cream cheese frosting as ordered. The most upsetting part though is the customer service. We gave multiple options to make this up and they refused to work at all with us on the issues.

OMG THIS IS THE BEST CAKE I EVER HAD!!!!!!!!!! Amazing customer service, extremely friendly and at the same time professional. I never had a smooth experience. And it had the most amazing cream cheese frosting I ever had. The Cheese was definitely Creaming lol. It was not only extremely tasty but it was so beautiful. Cant believe she did this by hand. Amazing price and will definitely order again. 1,000% recommening to everyone i know. Matter fact, I won’t go to any other cake spot ever again. I wish I could give it 6 stars. The only down side was it was too good and people were fighting for the last slice. I lost 😭 lol
