The Nitro Bar at Walkers

My new favorite coffee stop! Seriously incredible coffee and delicious breakfast sandwiches. The staff is very nice and the service is quick to boot! Highly recommend!

Super cute spot, but we had a pretty bad experience. The staff looked pretty miserable, probably because it was really hot and the inside of the shack was roasting. When we sat down there was definitely a bad smell in the area (like seafood), and they managed to lose the ticket for my drink. When they remade it, it was very sugary and couldn’t really taste the espresso. Their beans have tasting notes but nothing about how they are processed on the package. I bet the space is probably nicer in the off season when it isn’t as crowded.

Alongside a farm stand, we stopped in for coffee and pasty which were both delicious. The staff had been hit with several large orders just before mine and they understandably were backed up, but you should not be hurried if crowded. There are a few tables which we did not use, but perfect for mid-day munchies on your fall drive.

Little Compton and Westport are going through something of a small coffee-nated Renaissance right now. The Nitro Bar is an example of this. In a region where every square mile has to meet the regulatory demands of society by having a Dunkin' franchise, this quaint little coffee bar stands out. The Nitro Bar looks to be take out only, with enough space inside for it to buy your food and eat at one of the many tables and seating that is available outside. I arrived when it was raining so I opted to imbibe my caffeine within my car. As I was drinking my coffee, an employee of the neighboring farm stand warmly notified me of an issue with my car's lights, and it was a pleasant experience to know that such concern and care were present in this place! Nice upgraded local hip spot with great coffee, snacks, and sandwiches. Next to the wonderful Walkers and Young’s family farm stands. Enjoyed the Wilbur iced coffee drink and a chickpea salad sandwich. Highly recommended!
