The Morrison Café+Kitchen+Bar

Having been thoroughly impressed on a previous visit, we were a little disappointed with our second experience. Some portion sizes seemed notably smaller (not really living up to the prices) and not all our food tasted freshly cooked (the crepes sadly were a real let down). Perhaps it was an 'off' day for the kitchen. Service was, however, excellent and really can't be faulted.

To date, I have not experienced a better breakfast in White Rock. The staff are consistently friendly and attentive, and the food is always fresh, beautifully presented, and served promptly. The atmosphere has a charming, eclectic feel that creates a welcoming and comfortable dining experience. I am always happy to return and confidently recommend it. We were walking around the area and spotted this restaurant that looked really interesting so we decided to give them a try. The service was amazing. The waitresses were friendly and welcoming. Rarely, these days, that you will find someone will actually come around and refill your coffee without you asking. The food, on the other hand was kind of mixed. My friends omelette was great, perfectly cooked and delicious. My English Breakfast, tasted great, but my toast and potato were cold. You can tell when the butter isn't even melting. The sausage was lukewarm at best, but the eggs were still hot. Overall it was pretty good and we'll definitely come back. There are lots of things on the menu that I want to try

Fantastic breakfast at The Morrison Café in White Rock! Laura and Archie were amazing, so welcoming and attentive. The food was delicious, and they even opened the patio for us, which was such a nice touch. Highly recommend, we’ll definitely be back!!

The food was really good. I went with a friend. I ordered a classic Benny which was really tasty. I liked the potatoes too because they were seasoned unlike other places. The services was pretty good, but the servers there kept changing the music every 5 minutes which was odd and it was really loud.
