The Meadows Original Frozen Custard

Their ice cream is always great! My favorite flavor is their cookie dough and we always love the cow tracks! The portions are huge. The mini golf near by is fun.

Came here yesterday for ice cream and ended up getting a cookies and cream milkshake. It was delicious!! All the staff is so friendly and helpful. Definitely check this place out for superb homemade frozen custard!!

The best frozen custard! Weve been coming here for over 60 years. Always our first stop upon arrival to the Altoona area. Fresh made chocolate, vanilla, plus a rotating flavor of the day (their teaberry is outstanding!) give you the bases for loads of combinations for shakes, cakes, sundaes, and cones/cups.

I have been going to meadows all my life but the last 5 or 6 times my order has been totally wrong. I ordered a med tub of peanut butter ice cream bc it was one of the flavors of the day and they gave me a cup of peanut butter sauce, and this is all after they made my Moms snickers artic swirl with peanut butter and had to remake it. It seems like the never write anything down and go off of memory. I tried calling about my order but it just rings and rings...totally unacceptable at this point
