The Mason Jar Coffee & Gelato

(tourist review!) Very small and cozy coffee shop with kind baristas and what I just believe is a thoughtful business! :) There are a good amount of coffee shops within Helen, but after looking through many websites and reviews I was still drawn back to The Mason Jar Coffee & Gelato. I'm visiting from San Diego and I felt like I was kinda back home. I had good vibes and the people working there were chill and cool. I'm actually glad I went there since I was the only customer at the time, I walked around the downtown area and passed by a competing coffee shop that was jammed pack. (Around 8-9am) I had a hot chai latte, and it was delicious! They have lots of seasonal items and I recommend looking at their menu posted online on their website, especially if you like to know ahead of time e

As you can imagine for Thanksgiving weekend in Helen, everything was super busy! Jason and the barista crew did an amazing job with taking orders and informing the customers of the wait (which was short considering how busy everything is!) The coffees were delicious (wonderful seasonal drink selections!) hot and perfect on this cold day. I asked for a carrier for the drinks and one of the baristas even brought it outside where I was waiting with a great smile. Thank you! 😊

Nice staff and cute place. Got the Naughty Hot Chocolate - loved it! They had gelato too, it’s looked yum, did not try it though. Visited during a holiday weekend and the queue quickly built up!

I was pleasantly surprised to find this place in downtown Helen! Super cute and cozy vibes, and SO many latte flavor combos to choose from. My gf and I both got drinks we loved. A highlight of our trip!

I LOVED the ice cream here so creamy and delicious! The flavors were amazing and the place has such a cute vibe. It is soooo tiny like literally blink and you’ll miss it, but honestly everything else is super good! Totally worth the stop if you’re in Helen!
