My husband and I love Helen for a weekend trip. As much as we love the German food, it was so refreshing to have another choice in town. Abigail was our server and she could not have been more helpful or nice! I was sleepy and needed a pick-me-up, so she recommended the expresso martini which was ON POINT! My husband and I got the fried mozzarella appetizer, super cheesy and oh so delicious. I ordered the Shrimp Fettucine Alfredo and my husband ordered the Chicken Fettucine Alfredo and they were both so great. Creamy with tons of flavor, you could tell that the sauce was made from scratch, which is hard to find these days. We had extra virgin olive oil and balsamic vinegar to dip our homemade bread into (we had eaten most of it, that's why there isn't much on the plate in the picture!). I

Frankensteins having a 4.7 rating is legitimately mayhem. At best, it’s in the 3.3 ball park. Some notable data points - the service and crew were wonderful (minus our waitress charging us $3.50 for carbonated water - lol). The seating upstairs is sort of like sardines - so, not as intimate as one might prefer.. not sure why this happens either, plenty of room elsewhere. The food was bland.. the bolognese, the chicken piccata and the bread were ROUGH. The vodka noodles were the best thing on the menu (minus the hot chocolate). I get this is in a little tourist town - and there are limited Italian spots, but this is probably an avoid for future trips. Of note, we were promptly sat due to low traffic.

Excellent experience. Service was amazing, Hope really took care of us guiding us through the menu, she really nailed it with her recommendations, and made sure everything was perfect all throughout the meal. Food was incredibly delicious, fresh, and super interesting. The place is very picturesque, very cutesy, airy, and pleasing. 10/10, would definitely recommend, great experience all around!

We absolutely loved this place! Nice ambiance, fast and good service, very accommodating, and the food was superb! I got the tomato pesto pasta and was allowed to substitute the rigatoni for angel hair, and loved the amount of vegetables it came with. My husband got the chicken Piccata with pasta side. We both agreed that the flavors were superb, like elevated homemade deliciousness. The tomato sauce and the tomato pesto were both so good, not acidic, delicious! How I wish we would live closer!

Francesco’s Restobar is awesome. The meatballs as a starter were full of flavor and really well made. The Short Rib Balsamic was super tender with an amazing sauce, and the Rigatoni alla Vodka was creamy and perfectly balanced. The cocktails definitely deserve a shoutout — well crafted, great presentation, and the perfect match for the food. Nice atmosphere, friendly service, and definitely a place I’d come back to.
