Mason Jar, 200 Southpoint Loop, Livingston Texas!!! Best food in south Texas! Cody the owner takes southern hospitality to a new level. Staff.....friendly, respectful, giving amazing service! Everything about this location is on point! The food is top quality. The chicken fried steak hands down the best you will find in the USA. The banana pudding will make a banana hater fall in love. Definitely worth a drive even if you do not live in the area. They also offer catering services and full order smoked briskets. Get your Christmas order placed while available. Hands down food worth every penny spent. You will not be disappointed.

We came on a friends recommendation and were not disappointed. The chicken wings were delicious - a bit messy - I got the BBQ so next time (yes there will be a next time) I will try them naked with the sauce on the side. The onion rings were crisp and not greasy at all. Very yummy. My husband’s Philly cheesesteak was good he said, but a bit too cheesy. His fries were like my onion rings - crispy and not greasy.

So I never finish a full plate of food. I ATE ALL BUT LIKE 3 FRIES!!!! It was SO good I only gave my dog 1 peice and he didnt even get any leftovers. The patio is pet friendly!!! Major bonus! I had the chicken fried steak with Mac n cheese and fries, the hubs got the hamburger steak with green beans and fried okra. We both tasted each other's food too and NEITHER of us were disappointed in a thing! Veronica was our server and she was good. The bloody Mary was very tasty as well. Def found a spot we have to stop at!!!!

Know that this is coming from a multi first place brisket cook-off winner. This Stuffed BBQ potato from the Mason Jar Bar and Grill in Livingston, TX is EXCELLENT! Would definitely rate it at 10 of 10.

Great food, prompt service, unique atmosphere. Better than chain restaurants, give them a try.
