Came in to this place for the very first time looking for a birthday cake for my dad, his birthday is on January right after the holidays so they were out of almost everything, understandably so since businesses usually close during the festive days. Although I came in on vary late notice the owner still offered to do a cake for me and have it ready by the end of the day or the day after. When I showed up to pick the cake up it was ready on time and I have to say it was very delicious. My family is mexican, so tres leches cakes is our go to for birthday celebrations, usually we would go to a mexican bakery or store to buy a tres leches cake but I couldn’t this time because of bad timing. If you ever want a sweet treat this is the place to go. Gayla (owner) said she also takes orders for any occasion. Hubby, I and our church family absolutely enjoyed every bite of the apple, cherry, chocolate pie and the Italian creme cake deliciously devoured. Shhhhush I kept the banana apple bread and cookies to myself. So Good Y'all go check her out. She puts a lot of love into what she does and she is also very Sweet lady♥️

Cute bakery with tons of sweet options! This place also offers daily $7 lunch specials of at least 2 entrée options (today was chicken salad croissant or lasagna) and include a drink and cookie. Our favorite sweet items were the signature lemon drop cookie & cherry cheesecake. Come early because her yummy creations sell out quick! I met the owner "Miss Gayla" and thought she was very passionate, generous, and caring about her community. We heard about Lemon Tree via the local Escapees CARE/Livingston Volunteer Fire Department bake sale fundraiser in which Lemon Tree donated over $100 worth of baked goods!

Oh, wow you know you are walking into a real bakery, you know someone who knows who to make fresh pastry’s, Banana Bread (with enough bananas to actually taste nuts in every bite, did I mention Gayla Clark Tuesday Tacos 3 with one one of Gayla’s mouth watering cookies and a drink Each day Gayla whips up a special for the day- Most Wednesdays I believe is burgers 🍔 you know not the wimpy chain restaurant burger BUT lettuce, tomato, onion burger- YUM 😋 HEY LIVINGSTON TX you need to add 216 Culbertson (Google it) you’ll have a leasure drive through Escapees Rv Park to get to Lemon Tree Bakery One 1 more thing - each day Gayla servers Chicken Salad on bread or on croissant and breakfast stuff also. fresh home made food. single item each day. Monday is chicken and dumplings. reminds me of home. taco Tuesday and so on.. Had a lemon meringue pie.. closet pie to my mother's. loved it. this place is a Hidden treasure.
