Customer Reviews
This was a great place to stop for a bite to eat after driving over the White Mountains. It’s a super cute diner in an old train boxcar from the 1940’s. Food was very good and the waitress was super nice and cheerful. I had the veggie omelet and my hubby had the steak and eggs. The coffee was really good too. Highly recommend a stop at this unique spot!
We stopped by Main Street Station for brunch and really enjoyed everything. The French onion soup was rich and flavorful, the buttermilk pancake was fluffy and perfectly cooked, and the Philly eggs benedict was a tasty twist on the classic. The veggie omelette was fresh and filling too. The staff was friendly and the place had a nice cozy vibe. Definitely worth a stop if you’re in the area!
Classic diner set up some booths and counter service by friendly and attentive servers. The diner part is an old railroad car on a foundation with an added roof system for the kitchen and other parts. Menu was nice and the food as expected, great.tasting and reasonably priced.
We stopped in for lunch, and we were seated at a booth with no wait. Staff is friendly and it's a low-key atmosphere, there are clean restrooms available. The menu is breakfast and lunch with a wide variety of choices. We enjoyed a cheeseburger with optional homemade onion rings and a grilled cheese sandwich with fries. Generous portions and both were delicious, especially the homemade onion rings! Prices are very reasonable, and the service is prompt and attentive. They offer a variety of beers by the can or bottle as well as mimosas and famous bloody mary's. Seating is available out front with booths and a counter, as well as in the rear dining room and an outside deck out back. Parking is on the street out front. Authentic and very charming place is well worth a visit.
We found this diner as a last minute breakfast option while traveling. So glad we did. It was crowded, so we had a short wait, which was fine. Our waitress was amazing, being short staffed, she handled everything very well. The food was excellent. We would definitely return if/when we are in the area.
