The Maid's Quarters Bed, Breakfast & Tearoom

We had a wonderful experience staying at The Maid's Quarters B&B in Pottsville. Self-check in was a breeze, and parking directly across the street was very convenient, especially in the below freezing temperatures and a foot of snow. Our suite was spacious, clean, well-appointed, and very cozy. Detailed instructions throughout ensured we didn't have any frustrations operating doors, locks, coffee makers or heaters! Breakfast in the large, beautifully appointed dining room was absolutely amazing and featured home-made beer bread, specialty omelets, exquisite baked goods, and a variety of coffees and teas. We just returned from our stay at The Maid’s Quarters. We were in Pottsville for a family funeral and our stay here was so comfortable and welcoming. We appreciated all the cozy decorations and treats in our room and also in the breakfast room. Breakfast was delicious! Check in was easy even though the proprietor was not there. We knew that she wouldn’t be. |Parking was convenient across the street. Allyson is a joy to talk to. We highly recommend this charming Bed and Breakfast.

I had been looking for an afternoon tea room that my wife had not yet experienced and came across this lovely little tea room that is also a bed and breakfast. Yes, the home was built in 1829 so everything is old, but that is one of the things we loved about it. Allyson and her staff were super genuine, helpful and friendly. The overnight accommodations were an experience back in time and the afternoon tea and next morning breakfast were absolutely wonderful. It is located within easy walking distance of many other attractions for out of town visitors. We highly recommend this location!!

Excellent B&B in the heart of Pottsville PA. Stayed here for the night after a wonderful Yuengling beer tour. Free parking across the street, just grab a parking pass in the foyer after checking in. Allyson greeted me and showed me my room. The historic lavender room was super clean, every detail thoughtfully placed and smelled really nice. Comfy bed, hot shower with complimentary local soaps. Coffee, tea, snacks and water inside the room. Made to order breakfast, juice and coffee in the morning between 8-9 am along with a nice conversation. Thank you Allyson, 5+ stars! Will visit again

This was our first time there. Check-in was very easy, using the instructions they provide in the confirmation email. The room (the Lavender Room) was comfortable, although the bathroom was a little cramped. They have a mini-fridge and a Keurig coffee maker in each room. Thr breakfast is served in the dining/tea room on the first floor, with meals from the menu prepared to order. Service is excellent. We'll be going back again, and I highly recommend it.
