⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Lost River Grill and Motel I truly love this place. The room was spotless, incredibly quiet, and exactly what I needed after a long, exhausting day — but what meant the most to me was the kindness of the staff. I was traveling in an area I’m not familiar with, work kept me out much later than expected, and I couldn’t find a hotel anywhere. A local gas station recommended I try calling here. Even though the motel was listed as having no vacancy, when I called, they went out of their way to find a room for me and get me settled. That kind of care is rare and unforgettable. After working all day and driving late, I hadn’t eaten — and being able to get food right there was such a comfort. The food was reasonably priced and absolutely delicious, which felt like a small miracle at tha

What a great getaway and a perfect setting. Been there many times and always stay in the B&B. Very cozy and peaceful spot. The rooms are charming not to mention the entire home is as well. The outside deck is perfect to have drinks on and just listen to the nature. The owners are always a delight and very helpful. Oh, and did I mention the restaurant and bar? The food is always delicious and a great value for the serving size. The seafood quesadilla is a must have. So yummy...... The bar is always a lot of fun with a great mix of people.

The restaurant has really good food, but the staff is terrible. Service is slow and forgetful, but the prices are decent for a touristy place, but at least it's open 7 days a week. It also tends to be less than clean. The motel is an absolute dump for $100 a night, this experience should be $75 tops, it is comparable to a Motel 6. The rooms smell and feel musty and the bedding feels damp. Lighting poor amd seating is non existent. Beds are hard, pillows thin. The bathrooms are tiny, the towels never match, and often times the handles for water in the shower come off in my hand. Check in is consistently slow and disorganized. The only reason we keep coming back is there is no other place to stay when we visit the inlaws. Now for the B&B. For $120 a night, this was delightful. Clean smelli

We got a late night dinner when everything else was closed. Just did a pick up order, the lady’s at the front were so kind. We got steamed shrimp and Cajun chicken pasta and a couple sides. The food was absolutely amazing!! Definitely worth it

We just spent a few nights at The Lost River on a family vacation, and it was such a great experience. The whole place has that relaxed, family-friendly vibe that makes you feel at home right away. There’s plenty to do, whether you want to enjoy the natural beauty of the area or check out the little fairs, country shops, and local spots. The mom-and-pop stores especially stood out — you can tell everyone takes real pride in their work, and it feels like you’re part of a tradition that’s been kept alive for generations. Our kids had a blast, and we left feeling recharged and already talking about when we can come back. If you’re looking for a place that blends nature, fun, and a true sense of community, The Lost River is it.
