The Lodge

We went to The Lodge for dinner on a Sunday night, and it was quite crowded — clearly a popular local spot. It’s described as a from-scratch kitchen with craft cocktails, and I’d say that’s accurate. Think dive bar vibe but with genuinely good food. We started with the deviled eggs, which were very tasty with a super smooth filling. Nothing unusual or over-the-top creative about them, just classic and well done. For dinner, we ordered the Original Smash Burger and the Chicken Tender meal. The burger came with chips and a side of their signature caramelized onion dipping sauce. The tenders came with three sauces — spicy ranch, comeback sauce, and barbecue. This is a composite of two visits. My first stop was for a burger and fries, and although it looked the part, the burger was a very average 6/10 for me. The fries were good and the service/atmosphere were good. The SECOND try was the chicken and waffles... wow, 8.7/10. The chicken, crispy on the outside, juicy and tender inside. The waffle was sweet and delicious. The blueberry jam was wonderful and the fries were somehow better than last time. Would like to try the chicken amd potatoes as well, but that's for trip #3. Will return and definitely recommend.

This Lodge is definitely worth a visit or two. Absolutely delicious! I tried the BBLT with turkey and cheese and it doesn’t disappoint. The chips are good but I also tried the fries and they were excellent as well. Service was amazing and Daniel was the one who served us and was fantastic. Made sure we had a great experience and that we did. Atmosphere was cool with the hunters style decor. Definitely recommend this gem and will be back to try something different.

My family hyped this restaurant up because I am not from this area. I was incredibly disappointed with how the food tasted and how slow the service was. I ordered the chicken tenders and they were overcooked and taste bad The fries were okay but most of them were soggy and both the fries and tenders were room temperature. My wife ordered the burger and it tasted really bland as well. 3/10 비주

The food is great but be advised, most meals do not come with a side, and those that do come with chips. While chips are ok, they aren’t exactly filling, so expect to pay $4+ extra per meal for a real side dish. For two, with just water, our bill came out to be just shy of $40. Pretty expensive for elevated bar food. We enjoyed our meals though and likely will return, but won’t order sides in the future.
