Monroe Manor Inn B & B

It was warm outside and the air had a hard time keeping up, so the room was a little warm. For my taste, the mattress was way too soft. I could not get comfortable and kind of felt like I was sinking into it. Sunday breakfast was fantastic. It started with yogurt, granola and fruit, then we were asked how we liked our eggs and those came with tater tots and a crape filled with their homemade apple sauce. It was all very tasty. The building was beautiful and very well maintained.

Charming spot. Clean and comfy. Rashid is always smiling and he accommodated our vegan and vegetarian diets for breakfast. Their homemade granola is delicious. I even took down the recipe!

My husband and I came for the night for a wedding and from the moment we drove up, it was such a positive experience! Rashid met us at the door and welcomed us wholeheartedly with such a friendly demeanor. He gave us a little tour of the b&b and got us to our room quickly! The room was very clean and very cute. He was so accommodating and asked whether either of us had dietary restrictions for the morning.|The outdoor area is very relaxing and lovely. My husband loved his breakfast (I slept) and said it was a lovely experience. ||I highly recommend!!;

Monroe Manor is a truly wonderful place! It's a beautiful historic home. The room was extremely comfortable and very clean. Rashid, our host, was magnificent. We were made to feel right at home. Rashid talked about the history of the house and his acquisition of it. Our breakfast was delicious. He even accommodated my gluten free requests. He knew it was our 50th wedding anniversary, and he had a cake for us! It made us feel very special. I highly recommend Monroe Manor to anyone traveling near South Haven.

Rashid, the owner, is one of the nicest, most accommodatng people we have had the privilege of meetng. We stayed at the beautiful home for one night in a lovely, immaculate room with the most comfortable bed and pillows. The shower was teriffic, and thick towels were provided. The well -decorated room was not large but had everything we needed including a super comfy chair.|Rashid served a breakfast of homemade granola, yogurt, eggs made to order, fruit, and more. He cooked everything himself and it felt like we were having breakfast with a friend who wanted to make us happy with their good food.|The home is very private and about a 5 minute drive away from town.|We think anyone who appreciates B&Bs and kind hosts who treat you like a guest would be happy to stay here.
