This place is truly a hidden local gem! You’d never guess it’s Guyanese-owned based on the menu, which makes it such a refreshing change from the typical cultural spots in the area. The food is absolutely delicious — everything is packed with flavor. They earned my trust after my first order of their turkey burger which was so flavorful. After that, their chicken club sandwich became my go-to. Their chocolate lava cake was also one of my faves! I love their outside seating area. The decor is such a vibe — cozy, stylish, and welcoming. So glad I found this spot, highly recommend!

From our very first visit back in 2018, they never cease to amaze us with how flavorful and perfectly cooked everything is - from the juicy burgers to the delicious cheese fries, every bite is on point. You can tell they use quality ingredients, and the flavors really shine through. If you are anywhere near Ozone Park and craving a seriously good burger, The Local Press is a must-visit! They also have a great variety of offerings, but our family’s favorites are the ‘beer battered fish and chips’, and their latest addition, the ‘bang bang popcorn chicken’; both packed with flavor and cooked to perfection. I recently went to this restaurant on a whim and it was a great decision. It can be a little pricey, but I’m willing to pay for what I want especially food 🤭. The chicken was seasoned well and not many places have bang bang popcorn chicken and The Local Press does and it’s good! The Mac and Cheese isn’t your southern grandma’s, BUT, it is good for a quaint eatery and I’d get it again. The food was hot and fresh and correct! And their menu has enough diversity, so everyone will be satisfied. The signage inside is lovely with great mantras. The staff was welcoming and service was good and the atmosphere was perfect for a quick, intimate bite to eat. Check them out! No, I didn’t get paid for this lol

I wish I could give them more than 5 stars because EVERYTHING here is amazing! The food is always fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented 👌🏽. The staff is so warm and welcoming, and you can truly taste the love in every meal. I live in Long Island and still make the trip twice a week—it’s that good. My husband is obsessed with the mozzarella sticks and Tokyo fries! The Local Press is hands down one of the best spots in Queens! ❤️❤️

The Local Press is a true neighborhood staple. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the staff is always so friendly. I'm especially impressed with their awesome lunch special. It's a great deal for the quality and portion size you get. It's the perfect spot for a delicious, quick bite that won't break the bank. Highly recommend! 🍔
