The Local Crows Nest

Food was alright, nothing spectacular or you couldn't throw in the microwave and make yourself. Their grandchild was running around and staring at us the entire time. The atmosphere is a cluttered home with plasticware boxes everywhere and salvaged McDonald's booths mixed in with creaky loose chairs and tables bought from estate sales. There's a gorgeous old bar that's filled with crap and clutter. It could be an eclectic eatery, but instead it feels like it's a week away from being invaded with black mold.

I ate there a few Sundays ago before they closed to have some work done. They're open now. Anyway, the food was delicious and the proprietor was attentive and friendly. I will definitely go back.

Great little hometown diner. Good homemade food and prices are very reasonable. The chicken and dumplings are awesome. The menu changes each day, so you have to check their Facebook group to see what the daily items are, but its usually always worth it. Sundays after Noon are pretty busy, but other days are usually pretty quiet

Glad to discover this little hidden jewel during a recent visit to Manchester. We had a group of six on Sunday after church. We were seated quickly. Service and food were excellent! The proprietor was friendly and made us feel welcome. Will definitely go back next time we are in the area!

service was good, with wonderful staff, but the food was not there. they serve the same food that schools do, with small portions. most of my food was cold, and tasted like it was straight from the box. the only thing that was warm was the corn. the ambience is nothing to write home about, but is nice and quaint. payed almost 30 dollars for 2 meals that made us feel uneasy after eating.
