The Local catered my mom’s 70th birthday party last Saturday and let us use their dining room as the venue, and it turned out perfectly. I couldn’t have found a better indoor spot in the area for her garden party–themed celebration. Stephanie was so easy to work with and incredibly patient. She recommended an amazing bakery for the cake (Fluffy Fellows Bakery) and had lots of helpful ideas for the menu when I was overwhelmed and needed guidance. I grew up in the area but planned most of the party from my home in Chicago, so I had to just trust her, and everything came together beautifully. The food was delicious and everyone loved it. The Local is a hidden gem for catering that fits all tastes and budgets! If you've helped a friend set up for a graduation party (or have done so yourself) you know how stressful it is with so many other things going on. Graduation season is a freaking chaotic whirl wind. We hired The Local for our son’s grad party. (Venue and catering) I was SO GRATEFUL that all I had to do was show up and put up a few personal decorations. There was a diverse menu with options for every taste & budget. (Including AMAZING gluten free options!) Stephanie and her staff were professional, made sure everything was perfect and the evening went off without a hitch. I’ve had The Local cater 6 different events for me and every time the food and service has been phenomenal. Stephanie and her staff are amazing to work with, very responsive, friendly and open to ideas you might have. We had a few food allergy accommodations at our most recent event and she was able to make a few changes to her ingredients to make sure everyone felt included in the meal. I would highly recommend The Local for any event. You will not regret it.

This is a great restaurant. Had the fried goat cheese, prime rib and a turtle brownie. Delicious and beautifully presented food. The service was A+. Our waitress checked on us as well as other employees. Would highly recommend!

Our first visit to the local but definitely not the last. We started with lemon drop martinis, bruschetta, Italian beef egg-rolls for appetizers and salads. We loved everything! Especially the blue cheese on my salad. Incredible. The shrimp Alfredo was absolutely amazing and tasted like it was homemade by a loving grandmother, not a restaurant! The spaghetti and huge meatballs were also impressive. Lunch was wonderful and the quiet friendly atmosphere is refreshing! Tia was our server and the owner even came out to make sure we had a good experience! Thanks guys!
