Everything about our trip to The Lobster Pot was great. We initially thought about sitting on the patio, but decided to sit inside where it was cooler. Had a seat right in front of the windows with the great water view. The service was prompt and pleasant. This was the first lobster roll I've had this season, and it did not disappoint. I do not like celery in my lobster roll and they were able to make it to order without celery, which a lot of places do not do. My husband got the fried scallops and was happy with his meal as well.
After twenty years of driving by, we decided to stop in. Service was very pleasant. The day was nice to sit by and enjoy a window bay view. Spoiler alert, we ordered lobster and we were not disappointed.
Our family of three came here for dinner. They are extremely short-staffed. The thought of having to tip for such poor service makes me very angry. We finished our appetizers and waited at least half an hour for our main course. During our meal, no one refilled our water, and only one waiter asked, ‘How is everything?’ We had to wait or call a waiter to clear our plates. When we needed the bill and takeout boxes, we waited another 10 minutes. What’s more outrageous is that an elderly person at the next table fell off their chair, and none of the staff helped them up; it was another customer who helped. As for the food, the dishes were fresh, but the lobster meat was a bit tough, the pasta didn’t have a strong creamy flavor, and the seafood lacked freshness, making it very bland. The crab c
Sorry to say but place has gone down over the years. Gone there about a month ago and the food was average. So this past Saturday Feb 7, 26. Myself and my mother decide to go there again. I have to say i won't be back. We both got the open faced ribeye steak sandwiches. The steak was over cooked, the bread beneath the steak was most black from being burnt and the fries were on the darker side and crunchy, again over cooked. So we ate and didnt say anything. When I was done I was sliding my plate to the side and noticed a long black strand of hair. That did it. Called the waitress over, (Ava) and told here everything. Told here I'm not here to get anything for free, I just want to get the check , pay and leave. Top it all off the sandwiches were $25 on the menu. They charged $26. I have
It is consistently a nice experience. Food is fresh and nicely prepared. Highly recommend the jumbo shrimp cocktail as a starter. My husband recommends the fried whole clams and I the pan seared scallops. Very nicely prepared. And our servers were very polite and attentive.
