The Little Village Cafe

What a reasonable breakfast lunch spot! Diner atmosphere in a quaint neighborhood. Many menu items for the whole family and the specials were unique and tasty. The specials we ordered were enough to share. the only downside was the service. I understand they are busy in the early morning due to being located by the ferry and it's a get together for locals. We walked in on Monday around 10a with only a few patrons eating and were greeted immediately by the wait staff. But after that it took a while to order coffee. We ordered our food which came out in a timely matter. After the food was brought our waitress disappeared and I had to walk into the dining area to ask for a refill and to go container. I travel a lot for work and small diners like this is what I seek out. If you like cozy places where you will find blue collar workers and 50 year married couples having their weekly breakfast date this is your places. It’s a locals kinda spot. I had the Irish Benedict and it was amazing. My waitress was really sweet and the atmosphere reminded me of home.

Tried a breakfast plate at Little Village Cafe for the first time. Went with the cacolia eggs Benedict with hollandaise sauce over an English muffin with home fries. Thought it was pretty good. Cup of coffee was good as well. Service was good.

This is $18.75 worth, no hash browns after being asked if I wanted them. 2 sandwiches is $18.75 , .75 cents per piece of bacon bagel not even toasted LOL When I called to check if we were charged for hash browns was told they "usually come with" then why ask, I was clearly charged for them! A damn shame.

A little place in fairhaven, service was good, food took a bit to get out but was good, the potatoes/ hash browns were favored so darn good! Great breakfast spot for the area.
