The Lions Restaurant and Hookha Lounge

Ordered the salmon pasta sauce had no flavor. I was originally seated on the restaurant side after midnight we walked over to the lounge side...no seats at the bar and was told if we sit down in the section, it would be a $200 charge for a bottle. Saturday night and was only 5 people at the lounge, literally 5 people. Not a place I would visit again due to the service, choice of music, and the operation of forcing customers to buy a bottle in order to sit in an empty lounge. I love learning from others mistakes but if you a see for yourself type of person give it a go!!

Alcohol is fake. We ordered a bottle of Gold Label and it test like medicine. Guys order a beer if you come to this place or find a better option. Disappointed when people prefer money vs customer health!!!!

I have to start by saying that I have been coming to Lions for about 10 years. So my review is not based on one experience. The thing that keeps me coming here is consistency! The people who run the place and those they hire to work here is what has made it last. You can have goods and services provided to you anywhere but if you don’t feel welcomed and taken care of, what the business offers is irrelevant. The food is good. The hookah is good. The drinks are good. And the prices are reasonable! Always have been. Which is to be appreciated in Atlanta. The atmosphere is great and shifts depending on when you come. Our experience was absolutely ruined due to the incompetence of the waitress Ida. I came with a party of 8. We all ordered an appetizer as well as an entree. Again we were a party of 8! We asked the waitress over 5 times to write it down so she won’t forget. Each time she doubled down saying she won’t forget. Apparently she wanted to appear to be super waitress. Just as we EXPECTED she forgot multiple items on the list, brought entrees out before appetizers then LIED when we asked her if she put it in or not. She couldn’t even face us so another waitress had to take over. If she continues to work there she will run customers away. IDA would be better suited as the janitor rather than being a waitress. If you decide to come, DO NOT SIT WITH IDA! She’s a whole idiot.

The ambience was really nice. However, the food was not flavorful or appetizing. I had the Fried Lobster Mac and Cheese. It was very bland and not worth the price. I expected a well-seasoned, flavorful lobster tail, but was displeased when I tasted my food. Though the size of the lobster tail was sufficient, the taste of it did not satisfy my taste buds.
