The Land of Kush

Flavorful, rich vegan fare. I used Too Good To Go and got the macaroni salad, kale salad and "chicken". You could have fooled me. Food was fresh, warm, and seasoned well! Restaurant has some seating and beautiful Black art on the walls. Bathroom is clean and functional. Staff are kind and generous.

Currently on the Daniel fast and I needed dinner I didn't have to cook. Looked this place up right before leaving work. Skidaddled over and picked up the special. Ribs Mac and cheese with collard greens. Since I make these items non vegan, I want the flavor and texture to match so the meal satisfying. Kush, you did your thing. The jackfruit is used to perfection. Sauce is on point. The whole thing was great. I will return.

First & Last time I will visit this place. I ordered a Crab Cake platter and did NOT get the sides. The Cabbage I ordered in addition, served in the same container as the Crab Cake, was the best part of the meal.. The Sweet Potato cake I ordered made the meal satisfying, and altogether, the food was tasty and memorable. But the lack of sides from my purchase, combined with the additional expense of extra sides to make a meal filling and the lack luster service, will keep me from ever returning. For $30, I felt disappointed. I feel fortunate to have had enough money to make extra purchases for the sake of my own hungry. But next time, I'm just going to make the drive to Bonaparte & Harford Rd. and get a fish sandwich from THE GIFT.. If you are not vegetarian, I'd suggest you do the same..

I use to go here all the time, the food was so good it use to be one of my favorite places, but within the last 2 years the food quality has gone down. I don’t know if they are under new management and the public was not informed or what but I bought the crabcake dinner with greens and Mac and cheese. It was bland, the crabcakes don’t even look or taste the same. The Mac and cheese was ok and the collard greens was a no for me. I won’t be returning this is the fourth time I was disappointed.

Yesterday was day 25 of not eating meat. Really couldn't find anything healthy to eat outside. Remembered years ago going to the Land of Kush. The food was just as good as it was back then.The whole place was a great vibe.My fiance & I was welcomed like family & greated also with fast service. The ribs gets me everytime alon with my favorite (Kale Salad). We even liked the smiles from the cashier & the preparer. Oh & don't let me talk about the potato salad (chef's kiss).We were Blessed to meet yet again one of the owners Ms.Naijha Brown. She treated us with much Love ❤️ She was such a warm soul We just appreciated the whole experience. This is the place to eat clean
