I have to share my experience staying at the Stagecoach Inn, because it is one that I will always remember. ||I booked a trip to Lake Placid last minute on the day before a long weekend, because I had a free weekend and had always wanted to visit Lake Placid. I found Stagecoach Inn online and made a booking. I called Kelly, the owner and host, the day of my visit to let her know I would be arriving late that night, because I was driving from New York City. She was very friendly and accommodating. She let me know that she would leave me snacks and something to drink when I arrived.||As I drove to Lake Placid, Kelly was checking on me to make sure my drive was going well. My wife and I stayed at the Stagecoach for two nights in February and we had a wonderful experience. Not only did we stay here, but we enjoyed a romantic, memorable dinner. The food was superb, the service was top notch and the proprietor was friendly and very attentive to all details. If you are looking for a great Adirondack experience in a rustic setting, I would recommend the Stagecoach Inn.

The Stagecoach Inn combines cozy rustic charm with truly outstanding food. The meal I enjoyed with my husband and business associates was delicious - beautifully presented locally focused cuisine. The atmosphere is relaxing with beautiful Adirondack furnishings and cozy nooks for playing a game of cards or backgammon or sipping a cocktail. The staff was super friendly and there is so much to do in Lake Placid in every season - hiking and biking in summer and skiing and Olympic sports in the winter. The Stagecoach is just a wonderful place to relax and unwind!

Best meal I have enjoyed in Lake Placid EVER! From the delicious and unique cocktail to the amazing chicken dish and yummy dessert, the food was spectacular! Although I didn’t stay in a guest room, I toured the inn and it’s beautiful. Between the cozy atmosphere and the friend staff I would not hesitate to recommend the Stagecoach Inn to anyone for somewhere special in Lake Placid to dine and stay!
