The Jolly Cow

A great ice cream spot with super patient staff who actually listen to you—and they’re really generous with the samples! The flavor instantly takes you back to the good old days—you can actually taste the fresh dairy in every bite. The portions are huge for what you pay. I got Queen of Hearts and Butter Pecan with hot fudge and wet walnuts, and it totally hit the spot. My girlfriend went with Birthday Cake topped with hot fudge and brownie dough—she loved it too. We both had a great time. If you’re passing by, definitely give it a try—and think of us while you’re at it!

Gluten free soft serve heaven! We grabbed a vanilla, a peanut butter chocolate, and a mint soft serve! The texture was silky, flavors were balanced, and they were served at the perfect temperature! Gluten free cones ARE available. The woman who served us was immediate and confident in sharing what on the menu was gluten free. Tables out back were shaded and clean. Prices and portions were great. Can't wait to try the orange creamsicle next time 🤞

I have been going to the Jolly Cow for many years. No I was never a regular, since I never lived close by. And I have not visited the Jolly Cow in a few years now. But I will say that other than mostly parking changes, nothing is really a whole lot different. They are just your local ice cream stand with the warm weather treats folks crave. I stopped in recently and enjoyed their version of a Dairy Queen Blizzard. I think it was called a Razzle (sp?) They did it a little differently though. They didn't mix as much candy into the ice cream as others. But they did mix in some. Then they gave a good size topping of my chosen candy. I have to admit, it was different. We went here twice in June, both in the afternoon when it wasn't busy. Both times we ordered milkshakes. The first time we had a vanilla and a strawberry, and the second time a vanilla and a black and white. All were delicious and served in a very short time. The servers were very friendly. I understand why they've (the business) been around for a long time.

Got ice cream here last night after I picked up my pup from surgery. My daughter devoured her small vanilla cup, and I got a medium twist, which was delicious. My pup also got a doggy ice cream, he was unsure at first but finished it on his way home. So happy this place is dog friendly, he blends right in and should be on advertisements 😁.
