The Jamaican Spot

My husband and I heard about this restaurant so we drove a little over an hour to try it. I was introduced to true authentic Jamaican food while living in Houston. This place was worth the drive! Mrs. V, the waitress was nice, friendly, very attentive, and great customer service. We will be going back. EVERYTHING was delicious. I don’t eat carrots but the carrots in the curry chicken were delicious. Even the plantain was good to say that I’ve tried it other places and didn’t like it. The price per person is only because we had the combination plates with different meats to try. I highly recommend this restaurant if you want good and delicious Jamaican food.

I was passing through and stopped in. The service is great. The oxtail meal is the best I've ever had! I had a happy plate. (I ate ALL of my food) it is pricey but worth it. The beautiful woman behind the counter mentioned her husband was in the military. Thank you for your service sir!! 🙏 If you haven't tried their food, you're missing out!!

Very cool vibe at this Jamaican restaurant! It's clean, well decorated, good customer service, and serves delicious food. The jerk chicken, curry goat, oxtails, rice and peas all have an authentic taste from the island! I'll definitely dine here again if I'm in Leesville again.

This is the spot !!! You won't regret spending your money here. I have been to a few Jamaican restaurants in different states, and this spot is by far the best I ever had!!! If you have kids, one plate will feed two people they serve a lot of food.

I’m a traveling worker and can tell you that the Jamaican Spot is one of the best spots to eat in the area. The food is always delicious and flavors on point, the people are sweet as can be and the atmosphere is a small, special piece of the Caribbean right here in town.🎯 The ox tails, curry goat and jerk chicken are all fantastic, but my favorite here is the stew pork.
