The Iron Duck Public House

My fav place to have a drink with family qt the weekend. This place is very popular at Weeknd for dinner so better to arrive early. Bar is always busy but they usually get your drink within 5 a few mins. Draft beer with whiskey combo is pretty good deal is you are interested in local beer and small batch whiskey. The duck drummy and ribs are must buy appetitezers. Well flavored, tender and juicy. Iron suck pizza is another good choice to share. Waiters are very attentive. The environment can be pretty loud at weekend nights.

Greeted immediately and while I was only in for the pizza that I had heard so much about, I had both this incredible greeter from Monroe who absolutely made my day followed by Matt, the general manager, who was so outgoing and friendly. The layout was great with a private dining area and outdoor dining to the rear, the right amount of TV viewing tables, but also the right amount of privacy levels, a perfect spot to go for almost any type of occasion. Add to that ribs that I hear could be the best anywhere on the West Coast, I can definitely vouch for the pizza, + the depth and breadth of the menu was actually pretty awesome. Loved this place, love the people that work there, and absolutely cannot wait to go back

It's street parking and public parking. It's somewhat difficult to find parking as it's a pretty busy area. The restaurant itself is very quaint with a very nice atmosphere. The waiter we had was awesome and accommodated our party of five adults and two toddlers. Drinks and beer were tasty. Food was hit or miss. Burger and fries were good. Meatballs were tasty but were warm not hot. The soup was too spicy. House salad and dressing were tasty, however, the chicken was an additional $8 but the portion was miniscule. I understand that restaurants have to watch their bottom line, but you also want the people to leave feeling like they had a good customer experience. I’ve only been to Iron Duck a few times, but Miguel has been a phenomenal server every single time. He’s quick, attentive, and has great banter without ever feeling overbearing. If you’re looking for a place with both amazing food and genuinely great service, this is the spot. He gave perfect recommendations too! The chicken pesto pizza was delicious, and my friend who’s gluten-free was thrilled he knew the fried chicken sandwich is made with potato starch. Highly recommend!

Very cozy atmosphere, the food was good, not great, the beer selection very impressive. I did not get a chance to try the whiskey this time around, so can't speak to that sadly.
