The Inn at Birch Wilds

We enjoyed our Valentine's Day weekend! The breakfast was great and we enjoyed the pool & hot tub. We spent time relaxing in our room and explored WinterFest in Jim Thorpe. My husband and I have been going to The Inn at Birch Wilds for years now. It is hands down the best B and B in the country. Let's start with the Inn itself. Nestled in Leighìton near Jim Thorpe, PA, and only 25 minutes from Blue Mountain skiing, the huge stone home boasts 4 gorgeous suites. We stay in the Into the Wilds suite, which has a huge copper tub, fireplace, seating area, rainfall shower and beautiful rustic decor. Every detail, from the comfy robes to the battery operated candles to the adjustable flat screen and king-sized cozy bed, make it the perfect getaway spot. The Inn has a small library, pool table area, dining space, and get this-an indoor pool and hot tub from which you can view the beautiful surroundings. Guests can sign up for private swim time. Originally we booked one night, just to get away from reality. (And the snow)! Took a chance with the Inn. I am glad we did though. Room was beautiful,clean and spacious. Queen size bed was extremely comfortable. We stayed in the mountain view room which was perched above the original log home! Amazing wood work. The stairs to get up to the room was definitely something not for faint of heart however that's what you get with an antique home/building. The breakfast/food was delicious, individual tables. Breakfast came with three choices also including juice and coffee. One of many things that stood out is they offer (which we liked) Private pool and hot tub time. Amazing time from check in to check out. We were welcomed by Rhonda who was extremely caring, warm and accessible for anything we needed. Beautiful room with a very comfortable bed. We enjoyed the hot tub and indoor pool while watching the snow outside. Looking forward to our next visit! Highly recommend this cozy and relaxing Inn

This was a grwat place to go for a romantic getaway when you don't want too much stimulation or noise. The rooms were cozy with comfortable amenities and good food. The location was fine for peaceful mountain views and rural countryside. The owners were friendly and accommodating. The nearby restaurants were great. If you want a low key getaway, this bed and breakfast is worth the price for a romantic weekend.
