A bit disappointed by The Inishmor. When we arrived we were greeted promptly and only had to wait about 15 minutes on a Saturday night around 5:30. The service was good and the atmosphere was what you would expect from an Irish pub. However the food was lacking. My wife ordered "The House" burger and she asked for it to be well done. The burger came out borderline medium rare. I ordered the "Cheese Steak Sammy". Sadly I don't think there was any steak in it. It certainly didn't taste like steak. It had the taste and consistency of a burger that was chopped up. Lastly, after my wife finished her drink she noticed that there was some buildup on the inside of her glass...what appeared and felt like calcium deposits (picture attached). We informed our server and suggested that the glass be thr
Our most favorite local restaurant. The food is always delicious and fresh. We've yet to find another establishment that offers foods this consistently tasty and of the highest quality with reasonable pricing.
We visited Ireland this summer and were curious to see what CT had to offer for Irish pub experiences. The Inishmor has received a lot of recognition, so we made a visit on our way home from one of the casinos. We have to say that the food even exceeded our expectations! I’m usually very particular about my corned beef because my mom makes such a good homemade one that I’m often disappointed elsewhere, but this one was fantastic and the best one I’ve ever had at a restaurant! The Mac and cheese and wings also really stood out, and we had never had bangers and mash before but these were incredible! Excellent service and loved the vibe. We will absolutely be back!!
Overall friendly atmosphere with good food sourced from local farms, which was nice to see, and the food reflected that in how good it was. The only thing I didn’t care for were the booths which were “shared” and is where we sat. Parking which the pub has no control over was a little rough to say the least. With that said the food is phenomenal as well as the cook and staff.
The portions are generous and the food is as close to the real thing you can get here in the states. We had the fish n chips, bangers and mash, and wee burgers for the kids. Great local beets available as well.
