The Hyderabad Indian Grill Rochester

This was my first time here and I brought my daughter (who has had food delivered). We loved eating their lunch special plates — salad, rice, entree, drink, dessert. All were very good plus the entree can by made either mild, medium, hot, and very hot. We chose hot and it was nicely spicy, flavorful, and a bit of burn. The service was great, quick, and attentive. The price was very good and the portions were big, big enough that we each brought food home. We are definitely coming back.

Ok, I don't want to give a bad review on the food as it could've been what I ordered. I got the Chicken korma and it just wasn't what I expected. I'm used to Korma being a yellow, creamy, slightly sweet (coconut milk, perhaps?) This was a much stronger tomato base. This had a more robust flavor vs the milder creamier version I was expecting. Husband got the Tikki Massala. Both sauces seemed identical except his had onion and red pepper. Medium heat was good! Naan was good. Husband got the $15 plate. Great deal. Portions are huge. Plan leftovers or plan to share a dish. We're from out of town and try different restaurants as we travel. Atmosphere was nice, quiet. Clean surroundings and waitress was super attentive. I wouldn't order the Korma again and I'd ask more questions before ordering

Excellent!!! We loved, loved it! The food was excellent. We got a variety of dishes. The chilli momo and samosas were great appetizers! The various main dishes - all good. The chai tea and the salty lassi very good. Excellent, attentive service! Very happy with it all! We'll go again there when in Rochester!

I had the curry and it was honestly one of the best I’ve had in a while. The flavor was rich, warm, and balanced—not too spicy but still had a nice kick. The portion was great and everything tasted fresh. The staff was also really kind and the vibe was welcoming. I’ll definitely be back!
