Saigon Banh Mi

It was packed when I walked in here for lunch. Probably about 10 people waiting, but it was such a small area to be crammed into. I ordered the pork sandwich which I enjoyed a lot. I just felt like it was missing the huge flavor profile I have experienced at other Banh Mi restaurants. I will give them a second chance in the future I do not think they were very prepared for how popular the restaurant is. Definitely worth a try.

I had lunch here today with my partner and we both loved it. The toppings were fresh and authentic. My partner had the traditional bánh mì and I had the tofu one—both were excellent. Prices are reasonable, the service was super friendly, and the interior is clean and inviting. Ordering was quick and easy too. Highly recommend if you’re looking for solid Vietnamese sandwiches in Rochester.

Our little family had a doctor’s appointment at the Mayo Rochester. Had to grab a quick bite before the storm and came upon this little mom and pop shop! Superb warm welcome right away and the food was fresh! The bread on the bahn mi was amazing and we loved how both the paste and pate was light and delicious! You definitely get a good amount for the price! Our kids can’t stop talking about it! Even our 10 year old enjoyed 3 steam buns to himself! We can’t wait to come back!

I tried this place today for the first time and have now found a restaurant I’ll become a regular at! I got the grilled pork banh mi and my husband got the grilled chicken. We also shared a steamed bun, and I finished with an iced coffee. First off, the staff were very welcoming and friendly! We received our order quickly and everything was very fresh and flavorful. Highly recommend the strong, sweet iced coffee they offer, as it was the best Vietnamese iced coffee I’ve had! I also appreciated their nice shaded patio area. I already can’t wait to come back!

A small banh mi shop with big flavors! Rochester was long overdue for a shop dedicated to banh mi. With Saigon Banh Mi, I am no longer tempted to drive an hour to get some in the metro area. Prices are fair, and comparable to other sandwich shops. The only seating for it is outdoors, so if its not a nice day, plan to eat yours at home or wherever youre staying. That would probably be the only downside to this place. Otherwise, the sandwiches are great and I definitely recommend grabbing some banh mi here!
