The Human Bean

I love that the Human Bean is a successful Oregon-based franchise. Their small-footprint drive-thru coffee model is fast and cost effective to run. I want to support their business but I honestly still prefer the taste of coffee from local coffee shops or even from Starbucks. Their pastries are also pre-packaged and not the highest quality. If you’re looking for a quick cup of coffee in the Springfield area, I would recommend checking out the Human Bean. However, if you have more time, I would go elsewhere for a better coffee and food experience.

Wow! That is some good coffee! Loved the simple menu, making ordering very easy. The staff was super friendly and even offered to give my dog a treat! Both of us loved it. My coffee also came with an espresso bean on top.

This particular human bean on Main Street in Springfield, Oregon was where I went and for the 1st time, and my total was $11.50 for 2 drinks, and that's fine however I got them on the way to Lane for classes, and they were disgusting. I ordered 2 12ounce frozen espresso with peppermint, both my drink and my friends tasted disgusting. Didn't even taste peppermint in mine, but he did a little in his drink. Also, wasn't really frozen either. Not sure I will ever try Human Bean again. Especially when you spend $11.50 and can't even drink the drinks you get. We normally love this place. But the last two times we grabbed a frozen hot chocolate for a treat. We had alot of big ice cubs in the drink. Its like its not being blended up good enough. Couldn't even use the straw because of it. Normally this drink is nice and smooth. Customer service is great.
