The Honey Bee Bakery

I think this might be the second time I’ve ever done a review online in my entire life, but I just wanna say What a great job honeybee did on a very special cake I ordered. My 18-year-old daughter just graduated from the US Army airborne school right before the holidays. We are so proud of her and I wanted to get her something special. They hit a grand slam! Thank you so much!

The cutest bakery in Medina by far!! This place is such a gem and I always stop in here when I’m in the square. The cakes and pastries are so beautiful and delicious and they have so many great drink choices too.

I can’t begin to say enough good things about this little bakery. One, they’re inclusive by having vegan and gluten free items. As someone with a dairy allergy, this is heaven sent! I always find things for my husband, but it’s difficult to get myself a little treat at times because of no DF options. Honey Bee Bakery is beyond adorable in aesthetics. They have a large picture window, table, bookshelf, and chairs you can sit and people watch. It’s also in Medina Commons so there’s extra tables and chairs right outside the shop. Customer service? Stellar. Friendly, helpful, even asked if I wanted my husband’s normal sweets separated from my DF sweets. Now that is a respectful shop! Prices were very, very reasonable for what you get. I got my husband a buckeye bar and lemon bar. For myself

Now you may be saying "Why are you posting this homemade-looking cake on your review?" I wanted this specific look for this cake, based off another cake that I saw online. I asked them to stay as 'homemade' as possible, as other renditions of the cake seemed to 'clean-cut.' They happily obliged and I am so happy with what I got. When I picked up my cake, I saw their skills on display with the cakes they had in the displays. They were beautiful! I tried their honey lavender macaron and I loved it. It tastes amazing, the cake itself is moist and lovely. Thank you Honey Bee Bakery for making my silly birthday cake a reality! :)

I thought the Lemon Bars were the best ever and then I had a Buckeye Bar!!! Now I can't decide which one is the very, very best!! Love this bakery!!! I served them both at my open house and they were gobbled up!!! Great job!! Kim, you are your "crew" are awesome!! JaneAnn ❤️
