Medina County District Library

My daughter rented out one of the library's community rooms for my granddaughter's first birthday celebration. What a fantastic venue. The room is comfortable and well lit, and the attached kitchen is ideal for a party. We were able to set up the tables and chairs however we needed - so much flexibility. I would highly recommend renting out this space for such a party!

I mostly use the children’s section which has board books, picture books, plenty of fiction chapter books, informational texts, DVDs, etc. There are lots of computers in the children’s section, also. They have a private pumping/nursing pod, free feminine hygiene products, and a family restroom with toddler toilet and countertop changing station. There are plenty of activities and programs for all ages and interests. Self-checkout for books is convenient but staff are always around if I need assistance. Parking can be scarce but there is a free, public garage right across the street. I ❤️ my local library!

This library is amazing! I have not been to one with such a diverse experience for adults and children alike. The first floor for the kids is a wonderful experience from the setup for the books, to the Olay area, computer stations and honeybee area. If you live near by you should come check it out, and everyone should support your local libraries. They are so awesome and bring so much content and programs to your home for FREE. Get away from streaming services in your home and come out to your community services. Such a delight!

This was our first visit to the Medina library and we loved it. Primarily going for our little one to see what they have, and there is a ton. Plenty of books, toys computers and many other activities. They even had a bee display for the kids to check out. If you have not been I highly recommend it! ❤️

Beautiful, clean, friendly staff, and very accommodating for children. I was impressed the family bathroom had an adult potty and a children's potty and it was actually clean! There were a lot of other little details too that made my daughter feel independent and inspired. They did a great job designing and operating that place.
