The Honey Baked Ham Company

Me and the Mrs. have been going there for quite some time now. Staff was great. We use to meet there at 2 or 3 times a week for lunch. We loved it. We decide to save money and bought sliced ham from here for home. Yesterday staff was changed. Which happen. Sandwich was on stale bread. We told the girl and she just nodded. We didn’t eat it. And then went back to counter for pound of slice ham. $16 sandwich and $20 for ham. U she would have said sorry or something. Owner is great and cares. New counter peeps aren’t as friendly.

I've been ordering holiday hams from this store for YEARS. The service/customer service has always been amazing........ up until this year. It appears that the management staff are fairly new and I went in for Thanksgiving and the manager/asst. mgr. was being so loud and rude to the cashiers, I called the store as soon as I left and was told thank you and it would be taken care of. To my surprise, I went in the store for our Christmas ham, and there was a confrontation with this same mgr/woman in the lobby with a customer and the atmosphere has become so unprofessional and weird. I won't be returning to the Covington store. I see very similar reviews that have been recent as well.....So disappointing on all levels!

For Christmas we brought a ham when we unwrapped it the candy coating wasn't really there and the ham was very burnt. I also heard from many other people their ham was also like this for Christmas. Called the store the next day spoke to someone that said a manger would be likely calling me back and we would get a gift card for the over $90 dollars of burnt ham we paid for for Christmas. It's now February 1st never got a call never got a gift card.

Ordered food for Thanksgiving. I prepaid so I was able to get in a line that moved a little faster. However the cashier in the middle was so miserable. She constantly complained and didn’t smile one time. No one spending that kind of money wants to feel like they are doing her a favor by standing in a long line. She was told that there were no more pre- sliced ham by the pound and that she would have to do it, and her reply was “I will, but look at this line ““ which was part of my order. She kept scratching her scalp. After I saw her do that, there was no way my children were eating ham she touched. She was very unprofessional and I will not be back.

I honestly just wasn't happy with it. The service wasn't the best and neither was the product.
