Its Christmas Eve, we stopped and got a smoked turkey breast which is supposed to have crunchy glaze on it. I guess I should have stopped what everyone was doing in the store and opened the package of the $46 dollar turkey breast to inspect it, because what I got is a turkey breast with ZERO glaze on it, not a smidge, none. Clearly "finished in the store with a sweet, crunchy glaze" is only on days that aren't Christmas Eve? I am so aggravated about this, this entire Christmas season has been a disaster for my family, this was our one splurge for Christmas dinner, it was EXPENSIVE, and its not what I paid for at all.
We drove from Woodland Park before Thanksgiving to pick up 1 lb of ham, which my husband wanted for Thanksgiving. We also got a pie, which we hadn't planned on. We hadn't had any since we left the Denver area. It was so good. The lady who waited on us was so nice and gave us very good service.
I visited this place the day before Thanksgiving. The organization they had for people with and without orders was very efficient. Surprisingly, the customer service at the door was fantastic. The lady greeting people directed them to their respective areas. The gentleman selected the ham and rung up our ordered it, I don’t think he was very knowledgeable and took advantage of the situation. Make sure the customer service is friendly by the time you reach the cash register. The guy seemed new or maybe was just having a bad day as I felt like I was hurdle through the process.
My work had these guys cater lunch for a seminar. I grabbed one of the lunch boxes and opened it to find a vegetarian sandwich that looked like a 14-year-old made it. It was avocado, tomato and onion on wheat bread. It is the weirdest sandwich I've ever eaten. I don't even know why a company that specializes in ham makes a vegetarian sandwich. It was a terrible sandwich and it makes no sense in several ways. Why do I need to pay for the sins of sensitive people?
Yummmmm!!!! We ordered 2 different sandwiches & got 1 pound of their Ham to-go. I forgot how good this place was - I haven't been here in several years. I will be back for sure!!
