The Hidden Gazebo Eatery

The flavoyrs were on point and the hospitality and ambiance were perfect for our evening at the Hidden gazebo. The seven courses took us through a journey of Egyptian cuisine with sparkling conversation from warm hostess Noura punctuating the dining experience. Definitely coming back with my friends and family to try more of their dishes !! A must try in San Diego !

From the moment we arrived, it felt like we were being welcomed into something deeply personal. The garden itself is stunning, not just in how it looks, but in the care and intention behind it. We were given a thoughtful introduction to the space, from the origins of the legendary grapevine to the herbs and plants grown from seed, and it set the tone for the entire evening. Dinner felt less like going out and more like being invited into a story. Each dish carried its own character, and getting to hear about the ingredients and preparation added another layer of appreciation. It’s hard to choose a standout, but the fava beans were incredibly flavorful, the falafel had the perfect crisp and seasoning, the lamb was rich and satisfying, and the salad was vibrant and beautifully composed.
