Half a mile from Angel Oak Park, The Heyday is a fairly new place that offers fresh and delicious food. The star was Beet-Walnut & Goat cheese salad but everything we ordered was awesome. The real surprise was the Butter Bean Burger and Tomato Bisque as these are nearly hit-or-miss but the chef did an awesome job in making them really delicious. Highly recommended place if you are visiting Johns Island or Angel Oak Park.

The Heyday is exceptional!! The food is fresh and so flavorful! We enjoyed the crudité, salt potatoes, green salad, and sirloin! My husband and I agreed that we haven’t eaten a meal that enjoyable in a long time. Great value for your money, lovely atmosphere, and friendly service! Highly recommend!!

Amazing food, beautiful setting, and a personable chef. The food - each dish was not only delicious but also beautifully presented. It's clear that the chef puts a lot of heart into their creations. Speaking of the chef, Ryan came out to chat with us and he made it a personal and memorable touch. His passion for food and genuine warmth truly elevated the entire dining experience. I can't recommend this place enough!

Great food. Went on a Saturday mid afternoon and they had a limited food menu but it still had some great options we loved. There were gluten free noted food options with the staff understanding cross contamination. The drinks were good too. It was loud in the building. They have inside and outside seating. We'd go back.

So glad I stopped into this gem on JI! My adorable barista, Free, made me the best vanilla latte of my life, so good I had to get a second one to go! The food came quickly & was fresh and delicious. The staff greeted me warmly and the atmosphere was bright and upbeat. I sat at the bar for a quick bite, but saw people enjoying brunch at a table and some people pop in for something quick to-go. I’ll absolutely be back!
