Periwinkle Kitchen

Super cute restaurant, service was wonderful. My parents live on Kiawah and have eaten here many times, my son and I treated them again for my Mom's 81st birthday. She chose this restaurant as one of her favorite places. We will return, we all ordered something different. There are ready-made meals to purchase up front and a great menu with daily specials.

We had lunch over the weekend and had a fabulous meal. The service was over the top. We had a French dip sandwich. It was not salty, cooked to perfection. The tomato bisque soup was so smooth in flavor, I would recommend it. The blueberry cobbler skillet was excellent. Not overly sweet and you could taste the blueberry’s. We will stop at the restaurant again when passing thru town.

Small but mighty is this place! We stopped here for breakfast on home from St. John's Island. I had the brunch burger, and nothing on the burger overwhelmed anything else on it. Their fried potatoes must be a favorite, with a little heat/spice to keep them from being run of the mill. Portions are great, especially for the price. Worth the ride there if anyone is within 30 minutes.

Everything we ate was absolutely delicious. Favorites were the chicken and waffle sandwich, the brunch burger and the smash burger. Huge portions. Regular and sweet potato fries were both fresh and so delicious. We live in Charleston and will drive here again just for the food. Service was super friendly and prompt as well. Overall a great experience! Highly recommend!

You can't go wrong with anything you order here. It's all delicious, and the people who work here are so nice! My husband and I came back every day while we stayed in the area because the food was that good. I also love their ready-made food, like their incredible key lime pie. Come here and bring your friends!
