The Hershey Bistro

I stopped in at The Hershey Bistro for breakfast after noticing they had corned beef hash on the menu, which immediately caught my attention. The bistro is small and quaint, with a warm, home-style vibe that makes you feel comfortable right away. My server was polite and attentive, making sure all my needs were met. She was pleasant and professional with a great attitude. I ordered the corned beef hash with a side of grits. The corned beef hash was clearly homemade and packed with flavor—different from any hash I’ve had before, and very good. As for the grits, they were made differently than what I’m used to, so I won’t comment much on them. The Hershey Bistro is definitely a must-try, and I’ll be recommending it to everyone I know.

It was my first time at Hershey Bistro, and I absolutely loved it! The vibes were welcoming and relaxed — perfect for families, but also a great spot for a one-on-one lunch or casual meet-up. I ordered the adult grilled cheese, and it did not disappoint. It was flavorful, perfectly toasted, and such a comforting yet elevated take on a classic.

We got the fried pickle chips to start. My wife got chicken cordon bleu with sweet potatoe fries. I got the fish n chips. All the food was amazing! Atmosphere was very nice, the place was decorated very nicely for Christmas.

The wait for the food was a little long, but I understand it was maybe an hour's rush at 1:30 pm. The service was excellent, friendly, and easygoing. The food was good; I ordered turkey, mashed potatoes, and corn. The sauce was a bit too salty, but everything was fine. A family-friendly and comfortable atmosphere.

Was excited to try this restaurant tonight. Clearly they are very understaffed and it negatively impacted our experience. The wait for service and our food was excessive. No fault on the server, Rachel because she was hustling as best as humanly possible. Our app took forever. 4/4 orders were wrong. The prime rib special was so over cooked it was embarrassing. They ran out of their homemade mashed potatoes and substituted instant ones… horrible idea given one of us got the real deal and was obviously a last ditch effort. The waitress was visibly embarrassed at the kitchen’s subpar performance. She tried her very best to keep us informed and happy. In today’s economy this restaurant won’t survive with this type of mis-management. Special shout out and thanks to the server - she truly tried
