The Hampton Social - Skokie

We had such a great Saturday brunch at Hampton Social in Skokie. From the moment we walked in, the coastal vibe and bright, airy design made the whole place feel warm and inviting. It’s one of those spots where you want to take photos of everything because the space is so beautiful. We ordered the avocado toast and the garden scramble. Both dishes were delicious. The avo toast was fresh, generously topped, and perfectly seasoned. The garden scramble was light but satisfying, packed with flavor and great quality ingredients. Everything came out looking amazing and tasted just as good. The service was friendly and attentive without being rushed, which made the experience even better. Let me start with it that it is not the least expensive lunch spot, but the quality, the taste, the ambiance, the experience makes it well worth it. The service is quick and well attended. The food is tasty and we also tried their house special Rose wine. It's located in the mall so parking is plenty and free but it busy being the weekend.

AMAZING happy hours specials. We got some of the $1.50 oysters which were pretty good as well as the guacamole (pretty good) and the honey brussel sprouts (delicious). For mains I split the lobster melt with tomato bisque, which was good but very cheesy and I think there was too much pepper or something in the tomato bisque. We also had a side of Mac and cheese which was very nice, especially with the breadcrumbs on top. The decor is really so nice in the restaurant and we had a nice booth high-top. Service was perhaps a little slow but our server was very kind. Also, the musician there was AWESOME! Loved him!

One of our family’s go-to spots! Great food, cocktails, and ambiance. The staff is friendly, service is always great, and it’s kid-friendly too. Favorites: Parmesan Truffle Fries, Bang Bang Chicken, Calamari, Fresh Oysters, and for dessert: the Banana Cream Pie, Doughnut Drops, and Churro Cake. Everything tastes as good as it looks! 🤍
