Alan’s Falafel

Top notch Falafel which is handmade for each order. They come out piping hot and are crunchy on the exterior as well as delicate on the interior. Just so good and unique in comparison to other falafels. I also ordered the Small Baba Gahnnouj, which hit the spot as well. While I can't really explain the flavor of Baba, it's akin to Hummus, but instead of using chickpeas like they do in hummus, It is substituted with eggplant which makes for a much smoother and more tart and flavorful experience. Overall I will be coming back to this place on a frequent basis, but not on Sunday since they are closed then. Attached is my food receipt so you can see the cost and also the food that I ordered. I have seen this place a lot as I drive by, but a tiktok from these two sisters popped up on my feed and the food looked amazing so I went to try it. I got a 1/2 and 1/2 Shwarma (chicken + steak), and a side of six falafels. The owners were super nice and explained it’ll take a little longer than usual since they make everything fresh. And mannnnnn… IT WAS SO GOOD. I honestly can’t remember when I had such an amazing falafel. And the shwarma was huge and very tasty. Please go check them out because they’re great. I’ll for sure be back.

Incredible service and food! Haven’t had Iraqi shawarma this good anywhere else in the US. $22.99 for a combo plate feeds you for three meals. Thanks Alan and team 🙏

I’m in the area for a few weeks and decided to try this place for takeout. I was greeted by what seemed like a father-and-son duo, and the young man taking my order was very friendly and great with customer service. I ordered the Kefta Kabob plate with lentil soup and an extra side of falafel. For one person, it’s a lot, but I wanted to try a variety. While waiting, the food smelled amazing. I ended up eating all the falafel on the drive home (and I think they gave me extra!). The lentil soup was fresh, hot, and flavorful. Everything was packed neatly, the pickles tasted homemade, the salad was fresh, and the portions were very generous. The meat was tasty, though slightly dry. Alan's Falafel is perhaps the best place I've eaten for Mediterranean food. It's seriously good. I was a first time customer and ordered the chicken kabob with falafel and hummus on the side. The chicken was seasoned and cooked perfectly as it was tender and soft. The hummus was delicious as it was homemade and the falafel was crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. The owner and staff were extremely kind as they gave me a few slices of kabob and falafel on the side with garlic sauce to eat while I waited for the food. The meat fresh off the kabob melted in my mouth and tasted like food for the Gods. I will be coming back!
